Leanne said... If you only have a day to have a reef experience , that is close to Cairns, Fitzroy island is a great day out ! There are some very good regrowth areas along the beach . You will see turtles feeding in the grassed areas too. We had a cloudy day which made visibility a bit difficult. The meals at Foxys where very good. The walk to Nudys beach is worth the effort - beautiful beach and no nudes bathers !!
