Great day

This was a fantastic day. The crew is attending, offering sea sickness pills at the very beginning, supplied us with wetsuits, flippers and snorkeling masks. Skipper Marc discovered two dolphins, which guided us to a school of about 100 species. There were a lot of baby dolphins, so Marc decided not to let us swim with them. I really appreciate this, because it shows, that they take care of the wellbeing of the animals. Thanks for this experience 👍🤩

Amazing Dolphin Day

We both had a fantastic day on the sea with the wonderful crew who were very friendly. We saw 2 pods of dolphins before lunch, the second pod was huge! They are beautiful creatures and is an experience we will treasure forever. Snorkelling was great too before bbq on the boat. Take warm clothes for the boat ride, even on a hot day. And plenty of sun cream and water. Also saw baby hammerhead shark. We had a wonderful sunny day it was perfect - thank you!

Lovely day out

Unfortunately we didn't see any dolphins but we still got to snorkel and saw few sea lions. It was still a lovely day out on a water, boat is good size and there's plenty of shade if you want to stay out of the sun. Crew is ever so lovely and makes you feel very welcomed. There was no BBQ unfortunately due Covid restrictions but tea and coffee is still available. Thank you very much!

Abit of an oversell

This experience is abit of an OVERSELL. $150pp to sit on a boat and look for dolphins all day and then when your lucky enough to find a pod of them , we can’t swim with them due to there being baby’s or young adults , I’m abit confused as wouldn’t most of large pods have baby’s ? A slapped together sussage sizzle on the back of the boat with nothing really to it, very low budget . Snorkeling was good except for it’s in the middle of the day and only lasts a short hour . Overall you spend about 8 hours sitting on the boat looking at the ocean bored and cold .

From Orca Wild Adventures - Dolphin Swimming

Hi Chloe, sorry that you didnt enjoy your day with us. I hope that you can appreciate that we are dealing with wild dolphins and in a natural environment that we have no control over. Everyday is different, and yes some days can be a bit hard. We do swim 80% of the time and have a lot of very happy customers. We are happy to offer you a half price trip if you would like to come again, chances are you will get to swim with dolphins. Regards Mark Orca Wild Adventures

Danmark

Should be more transparent on the chances of swimming with dolphins. Seems like many days don’t succeed

From Orca Wild Adventures - Dolphin Swimming

Hi Rasmus Beyer, sorry you didn't get to swim with the dolphins. They are wild animals and sometimes it is just not feasible. We are totally transparent about our success rate at swimming with dolphins and it is stated on our website, we swam both of the last 2 trips . I am not sure why you think we are not, you cannot really assess this from coming out once with us. Anyway you obviously feel justified in a one star review even though we cruised with 80 to 100 dolphins for an hour, had an awesome snorkel and lunch, saw a large school of Kawahai and a leatherback turtle. Regards Mark
