Below Zero Ice Bar
Great experience, would go again! The drinks were tasty, the people working there were very lovely, and $9 cocktail refills! Had a great time. Little warning though - some of the gear has missing zips and the gloves are just general winter gloves (although that didn't matter to us, we were too happy with the experience to mind).

This is one activity our group of 4 adults would all skip in the future. Anyone can make their own fun out of anything, but really this just felt like a cheesy scam. Drinks were basically juice (of course) and the staff person was the most unfriendly, unenthusiastic person we met the entire 3 weeks we were in New Zealand. Very noticeable since all the other service workers we met in NZ were very friendly and happy to chat.

Not worth the money spent
The gloves were so thin, there is no way it can control the temperature of -12 degrees. They also did not have enough kid jackets, resulting in my 5 year old wearing a jacket which was two sizes too small. We spent 20 minutes of our 1 hours session there as the kids were just too cold as a result of the improper clothing having been provided to us. You are also asked to show up 10 minutes before the session, but then they keep you waiting outside for the 10 minutes before they open the stoor up. So why then have us come early? I am a bit disappointed with the money spent, as it simply was not worth the visit.
