Boosting My Surf Skills with Toby
Having surfed for a while, I was eager to refine my technique, and Toby’s one-on-one lesson was exactly what I needed. From the start, his friendly, professional approach put me at ease. He quickly assessed my skill level and focused on improving my stance, balance, and overall technique. Toby’s clear instructions and personalised feedback made a huge difference. His ability to break down movements and offer practical tips helped me make noticeable progress. What stood out most was his patience and chilled out approach. By the end of the session, my stance felt much more stable, and I had a better understanding of how to read and approach the waves. Toby’s passion for surfing is contagious, and his teaching style is supportive and encouraging. I highly recommend Toby to anyone looking to improve their skills, no matter their experience level. Thanks to him, I’m feeling more confident and excited to see how I progress from here.

Great learning experience!
It was the first time I have done a private surf lesson and it has brought me SO much more value than a group lesson. Toby was super helpful and patient, giving clear instructions; we focused on areas for improvement and practiced a lot. I could actually see myself progressing in just the 1.5 hours I had booked with him. If you're looking for a great learning experience, look no further!

Highly recommend!
Great value for money! Toby was a great teacher and really supportive. All 3 of my girls (ages 8 to 14) stood up on the board multiple times - they all want to have another go. Definitely worth the money going in a small group - they all got a lot of 1:1 coaching.
