Was happy for myself that there were only a couple of us on the tour, sad for the company though, but it was nice and quiet and more personal. What a lovely drive overland through the farm and past the golf course and lodge. Was fun to be amongst the farm animals, spectacular views of the landscape and ocean. Rob was a great and informative host and driver. Being so close to the Gannets was really neat, they are a bit smelly and noisy but so beautiful and interesting and it was cool to see cute little fluffy babies... I highly recommend this tour and this company for a great experience... It was a good day for it too, not too hot. Thanks for having me.

Wifi wasnt going well receptionist done a nice thing and connected me to another server. Park is nice, relaxing, lots of people though, was annoyed cos I was trying to take a nice photo of the view but a canoodling couple were always in the way.. they should have a couples only pool lol.

I enjoyed this trip even though the waters were a bit rocky, didn't know there were waters in New Zealand so clear and Blue, there were no dolphins or whale sightings so the good thing is you get to go again, the customer service and commentary was great, my only thumbs down was the 2and a bit hours on Otehei Bay could have gone without.. 1hr would be suffice... I guess they allow that time if its a packed boat and the cafe has to do so many orders or those who do walks, But now that the season is low I think more time should be spent looking for wildlife than sitting on the Island for over 2hrs... I also think these cruises should supply free water and a snack at the least for the price... but overall very nice and hope I see dolphins next time round

Very nice place, tranquil lovely to walk around with pukeko and all types of ducks and chicken and geese.. see fat big tuna. Almost touch them. There are hidden costs to get a more close up experience and buy food to feed the birds and the deer but you do it anyway cos it's fun getting up close and personal with them. I wish I got to interact with the gibbons and lemurs. Alot of walking but then alot of places to sit. Food was not bad at Cafe got kids fish n chips.. be nice if I could go again free whenever I needed some nature and animal time. But oh well. I'd probably just hang around the horses, cows, sheep and alpaca etc more next time. Didn't see any wallabies?

I would've liked to have given a 5 star, however there were a couple of issues. One is accessibility both to get to the park and back and also getting around the park. There really should be a bus that goes to the park and back to town that doesn't cost $40 each way if you haven't got a car. I know that's more a NZ transport metro issue. Now there is a shuttle and I was also offered a wheelchair however the shuttle only stops at certain points and to get to some enclosures it means you have to backtrack or walk down more pathways. Hence I didn't get to see all the animals up close because of all the walking. The path to me doesn't seem wheelchair friendly unless someone had an electric wheelchair. Lots of gravel and slopes. There was a Lil bit of rubbish in the gullies and some parts looked overgrown. It's hard to see the lions through all that fencing. Mind I didn't realize there was another spot around the side for them. I'd say that it was hard to see some animals up close which I guess the good thing is it means lots of room for the animal to roam. You definitely need a good camera to get good photos. On the other hand it was really amazing to see the gorillas and feed the Giraffe. I was lucky cos one decided it would come over after many missed out on feeding them. And the staff are nice. My hot chips weren't cooked properly in the Cafe and the Chai the Cafe uses doesn't taste good. May need to change it. It was a nice day just sad I didn't get to see all and be involved in all the feeding times due to walking. Thanks

It was canceled on the day originally booked due to bad weather but I booked again for Saturday, it was very eventful with Hectors Dolphins greeting us, a whale sighting from afar but I didn't see and then a large pod of Dusky Dolphins and a few species of Albatross, fantastic tour, very cool they have someone spotting Dolphins, staff were great, helpful and informative. Wasn't a fan of the briefing or video at the start, more suited to the swimmers or visitors from out of town, country. But otherwise amazing, thank you.
