I guess you have to have a sense of humour about it. We didn’t die and we saw some whales which made it all worth it. The ride back was like being on the titanic with people lying on the floor and almost everyone vomiting, there was no chatting just the odd groan and hand up for another sick bag. I would not recommend it for families with young children. The young kids were sick even before we got out to the whale watching spot so it was a long two hours for them, poor things. Even those that took the sea sick pill were sick, it would certainly pay not to have a large lunch before boarding. The staff were fabulous all credit to them for working in that environment.
