Tubing is a fun, safe water activity, which combines adventure and action, set amongst towering trees, on freshwater streams.
Behana Gorge is very much a secret spot where locals’ come to play and get away.
It has a stunning natural rainforest surroundings with an arching canopy of trees and gently tumbling cold waters.
The Mulgrave River provides small, fun rapids and a beautiful natural backdrop.
This half day rainforest tubing tours leaves from Cairns daily and provides approximately 2 hours of tubing fun.
This activity is fully supervised, with a minimum of 2 guides on the water, and all equipment and instruction is provided.
This is a fun, safe water activity conducted on professional, high quality tubes.
Suitable for people of all experience levels. No previous tubing experience necessary.
Perfect for solo travellers, groups of friends and/or families. It’s the most fun you can have while floating!

Awesome afternoon on the river
Wonderful day on the river with perfect combination of rapids, floating and beautiful scenery. Friendly and engaging tour guides. Would definitely recommend.

Great day out
We loved this trip - second time we have done it. So relaxing but with a bit of excitement when you come across rapids. Highly recommended. Just remember to pack some insect repellant for the mozzies and flies.

Not worth the money and time.
Our water tubing experience was disappointing. While my 5- and 6-year-old enjoyed themselves, the overall trip wasn’t worth the cost. Tubes constantly deflated, and I had to pay $5 to rent broken shoes that kept falling off. On top of ticket prices, there was a $60 levy, which felt like a rip-off. The river journey itself was dull and lacked excitement. However, the staff were fantastic—friendly and attentive, which was the only highlight of the day.

More focus on certain people
I didn't enjoy it as I felt some people got more attention than others. The camera person took more photos of others and none of some. It was very slow pace for my liking but perfect for the tourists.

This half day experience is well worth it. Definitely do this next time you’re in Cairns 👍🏼
