Down Under Cruise and Dive - Great Barrier Reef Tour onboard the Evolution

Travel onboard the luxurious and spacious super-yacht, Evolution, to the Outer Great Barrier Reef for an amazing snorkelling experience. Explore two spectacular and exclusive Outer Great Barrier Reef locations, before spending the afternoon as you choose. Enjoy a semi-submersible tour learning about the reef with a marine biologist, or add a scenic helicopter flight over the reef to your day. Cruise back to Cairns, enjoying a free glass or wine and a snack as you take in the stunning views!

Billy Tea Safaris - Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation Tour

Enjoy a full-day adventure to the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation, travelling to the rainforest in comfort in a custom-built 4WD air-conditioned vehicle, listening to the informative commentary by your local naturalist guide. Sit back and relax on a Daintree River Cruise spotting crocodiles in the wild and take a guided boardwalk tour through the Rainforest, learning about the flora, fauna and history of the rainforest. Continue your tour with a 4WD ride through the World Heritage-listed rainforest and enjoy lunch at a local Daintree Rainforest cafe, before visiting Cape Tribulation Beach to enjoy a homegrown ice cream before the journey home.

Itinerary

  • Rainforest 4WD Full Day Tour: Embark on a full-day adventure to the Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation exploring the ancient Daintree Rainforest and famous Cape Tribulation Beach with a passionate and experienced local guide. Travel the scenic coastal drive to the Daintree River Cruise Centre. Enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival before a 1 hour Daintree River Cruise spotting crocodiles in the wild! Your day then continues, with a guided Daintree Rainforest boardwalk learning all about the flora and fauna of the oldest rainforest. Lunch is included with an opportunity for a freshwater swim in the heart of the rainforest to cool off before heading to the famous Cape Tribulation Beach for a stroll. The day ends with an ice cream (included) before returning to your accommodation.
  • Reef Day: Enjoy a full-day cruise to the Outer Great Barrier Reef onboard a luxury superyacht. Visit 2 spectacular Outer Reef Sites to snorkel and see the magic of the reef. Upgrade to add scuba dive (extra cost - add with the tour operator once booked). Enjoy a BBQ lunch and a glass of wine, cheese and biscuits on the return.

Location

  • Daintree Rainforest transfers are included - pick up & drop off from your Cairns, Northern Beaches or Port Douglas accommodation. Times confirmed upon booking.
  • On the Reef day, make your own way to Reef Fleet Terminal for check-in from 7.15am - 7.45am. Alternatively, return transfers can be booked for an additional cost, please book with the tour operator after you have made your booking.

Restrictions

  • Please note for the Great Barrier Reef Cruise Tour:

    • Helicopter: 130kg weight restrictions apply for helicopter rides.
    • Diving: All divers must complete a Queensland Medical Questionnaire onboard. Certified divers must show an internationally recognised scuba card. Minimum age for Introductory divers and dive courses: 12+ years and Certified divers: 10+ years.

  • Important: The booking date selected will be for the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation Tour and details will be provided after booking to arrange the travel date to the Great Barrier Reef aboard Evolution.

    Please Note: The tours do not need to be on consecutive days, as the tours operate on different days for the tours, and they may not be able to be consecutive either.

    Rainforest Day Tour:

    Includes pick up & drop off from your Cairns, Northern Beaches or Port Douglas accommodation. (Times confirmed at time of booking).

    Reef Day Tour:

    • Check-in from 7.15am - 7.45am departure
    • Departs 8am | Returns 4.30pm
