Tour and Boat Detailed Information:

ZigZag is a true Full-Day Tour that meets at 8 a.m. and returns at 4 p.m. The fastest boat in the Whitsundays means more time at the islands and destinations and less time on the boat.

The Boat - ZigZag is a 39-foot Naiad boat with high-back seats for a comfortable ride! This vessel is extremely comfortable, allowing guests of all ages and adventure levels to take part.

We limit the number of guests to just 30, making sure you get the small-group experience.

Whitehaven Beach - Spend up to 2 hours at Whitehaven Beach, including the New South Whitehaven Lookout, which opened in July 2019. While at Whitehaven Beach, you can walk to the brand-new Lookout that overlooks Whitehaven Beach and has 120-degree views of the Whitsunday Islands. This new Lookout is breathtaking and has to be seen to be believed. The walk is 1km each way and requires a medium fitness level. If you wish not to partake in the lookout walk, you can stay on the beach and explore or sunbake.

After the walk, a buffet lunch will be served on the beach.

Snorkelling - If you like snorkelling and want to see the beautiful coral of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, this tour is for you. Our qualified crew choose the best locations that suit the conditions. This location can include Chalkies Bay, Blue Pearl Bay, Luncheon Bay, Border Island, and a secret bay where we can keep quiet (you will see why). These tropical waters are filled with tropical fish and turtles year-round! The islands shelter these reef areas and have an extensive, diverse range of stunning colours and abundant sea life.

Chalkies Beach and Haslewood Island Lookout -with the same sand as Whitehaven Beach and a lookout over coral reefs, this is a popular stop away from any crowds

The Crew—The ZigZag crew is well known as the friendliest tour guides in the Whitsundays. Just check our 1500+ reviews below. The crew is all trained to the highest environmental standards by the company's owner, who is a marine biologisttrained right here on the Great Barrier Reef.

Whale Season is from July to October, and you have a good chance of seeing whales during these months.

Meeting point: Please make your own way to the marina. You need to be at Coral Sea Marina northern end roundabout meeting point B at 8:00 am

Wundervoller Tag

Es war ein gut organisierter Tag in einer einmaligen Umgebung. Das Team hat uns tolle Strände gezeigt, wir konnten super lange schnorcheln. Das Team kümmerte sich um jeden, sprach jeden an, man fühlte sich rundum wohl. Vom Speedboot mit Musik, bis Nachfragen, ob man schon mal geschnorchelt hat, das Essen ( nicht in Plastik!), Aufstieg zu Lookouts, Erklärungen zu bestimmten Punkten, und, und, und…. Die Tour ist mega schön, mit nur 2 Stopps, bei denen man das gesamte Whitsundays Feeling in vollen Zügen genießen kann. Alles super gut organisiert und die Crew so nett und entspannt. Wir waren echt begeistert, hatten einen super Tag und können es jedem empfehlen.

Toll organisierte Tour

Für die Fahrt kann ich eine Jacke empfehlen, da es doch sehr windig auf dem Wasser wird aufgrund der Geschwindigkeit. Ansonsten war die Crew sehr cool drauf und hilfsbereit. Es gab genug Zeit für beide Strände und wenn man Lust gehabt hat, konnte man noch eine kleine Wanderung zu zwei verschiedenen Aussichtspunkten machen. Das Mittagsessen wurde kalt serviert und war in Ordnung. Im Großen und Ganzen hat uns die Tour sehr gefallen, da man bunte Korallen und einen wunderschönen Strand mit dem feinsten Sand der Welt erleben kann.
