There’s no better way to explore Hobart’s picturesque habourside than by Kayak!
The perfect fusion of fun, relaxation and exploration, the Hobart City Kayak Tour is the ultimate way to experience Hobart’s bustling waterfront and all its charm!
During the 2.5 hour tour, we’ll explore the waterfront at a relaxed pace with plenty of time to explore and take in the surrounding views.
We’ll cruise the crystal clear waters past the lively working waterfront, getting up close and personal to tall wooden sailing ships and uncovering a unique perspective into the heart of Hobart.
The water is clear enough to get a view of our native sea stars, and if you’re lucky we may even see Sammy, our friendly resident Seal!
For a taste of the true local experience, we’ll pop by the city’s famous floating punts for a classic bite to eat of fish & chips - you'll enjoy them straight from your kayak for a meal with a view.
The Hobart City Kayak Tour is the perfect way to add a splash of fun to your trip to Tasmania!
Departure & Finish Location: Marieville Esplanade, Sandy Bay. (Hobart CBD)
**Opposite 16 Marieville Esplanade on the beach near the rowing sheds**
Fantastic to hear you enjoyed the Hobart City tour and the fish and chips. These are always so good after you have earned them paddling. Thanks for the review and we hope to see you on the Tasman Peninsula sometime soon. Cheers
Thanks Jannelle. It was wonderful to have you all along and great to hear everyone loved their birthday treat. Hope to see you all again one day. Cheers
Great experience - best fish and chips available at Constitution Dock on the last day of 2019 - in a kayak surrounded by every manner of deep-water racing yacht. We missed Comanche and Wild Oats 11, they had already left, but Black Jack was still there is all its racing-muscle and beautiful glory. The kayak and guide were superb. Thanks Tim. A really great way to experience Hobart.
What a way to finish 2019! Fantastic to hear you enjoyed you NYE paddle and hope to see you again one day. Cheers
The weather initially was fab and its a lovely paddle into the bay, briefly turned nasty on way back which took, some effort to paddle against the wind, but only for a short time, ultimately, Id definitely do again, but I'm more likely to be more picky about my weather :)
Thanks for the review Kelly and great you enjoyed your kayaking tour, even with a bit of hard work paddling into the wind. Love to see you again one day. Cheers
Great little tour, good for those with less time or less fitness capability. Beautiful way to see the city.
Fantastic to hear you enjoyed exploring our beautiful city by kayak. Thanks for paddling with us and for this great review. Cheers
