Apart from the "Big Waterfall" this Kaituna Rafting expedition offers 14 rapids in 45 minutes as you negotiate your way through the spectacular lush tree lined gorges, steeped in Maori history.
The Kaituna is rated grade 5 because of the waterfall however it is still completely suitable for first time rafters who are comfortable in the water.

Wir haben die Tour morgens um 8 Uhr gemacht, was sehr entspannt war, da noch kein anderer Anbieter so früh eine Tour startet. Die Guides waren sehr kompetent und ich hab mich in keiner Situation in Gefahr gefühlt. Sie haben sich viel Zeit gelassen, um uns vorzubereiten und sich um jeden Einzelnen gekümmert. Würde die Tour jederzeit wieder machen und sehr empfehlen! Greetings, Sabrina

Es war zwar nur eine Stunde auf dem Wasser, die aber dafür vollgepackt mit Eindrücken. Schon der Flußlauf sieht total fantastisch aus, die Reste des alten Wasserkraftwerks sind faszinierend, und dann sorgt noch der Guide für beste Unterhaltung. Ich hab schon echt viel solche Sachen in der ganzen Welt gemacht, aber das ist eine Perle. Die Stromschnellen sind gut, aber die Wasserfälle natürlich das Highlight, wer sowas noch nicht gemacht hat sollte es erleben. Und der Preis steht gut im Verhältnis zur Leistung.

Perfect rafting tour!
The rafting was just perfect. When we arrived we got a short introduction which was super easy to understand and not working because of the fun team. The rafting itself took around an hour and was super adventorous, fun and exciting. I would definitely recommend doing it with wet n' wild as the team is super knowledgable and fun and you will have a great time :)!

Great fun!
The trip is 1.5km but it lasts about 40 minutes. Plenty of time to admire the beautiful scenario of the Kaituna river, a wonderful gorge covered in lush vegetation. Rapids are of the “drop, pool, drop” kind... including the 7m waterfall... Crew was professional and fun. Would definitely recommend it!

Amazing!!
Die Guides waren super nett und lustig!! Unsere Tour hat richtig Spaß gemacht. Würde ich sofort wieder machen!! Man bekommt zum Schluss alle Fotos auf einem USB Stick um 40 NZD
