    Damian Radburnd said... With a brief but informative video first, we then went to the helipad to await our ride. The kids were super excited and watched the video attentively. Then it was time to "get to the chopper." The pilot was awesome and explained what he was doing at every stage. The liftoff was exhilarating and the flight was quite amazing. On an wonderful summers day (January 14th) we flew up to the Humboldt Glacier. We played on snow for awhile, and the boy and I went down to the crystal clear water. I left a snow angel, and we threw plenty of snowballs. It is a big drive to Glenorchy, but it was definitely worth it. Thank you Heli Glenorchy.
