We didn't have great weather the day we were booked with him and didn't have time to re-schedule but on a cold rainy day he did his darnedest to give us enough of a tour of the misty mountains. As the weather wasn't agreeable that day we couldn't see much of the mountains nor go walking/fishing, but he will tell you everything about the area and take you down back roads exploring parts you'd never get to see in a "normal" vehicle. And he even spotted a pair of Kea's so close to the road- we were able to capture great photos of. He is super friendly and will tailor your guide to what you want to do, I can only imagine what it would be like on a nice day. That being said, I'm not sure what better way we could have spent our time on a super cold and rainy day than driving through the backroads of the Misty Mountains.
