Cruise the pristine waters of Lake Wanaka in style and comfort aboard our fast 27 seat vessel as we make our way to the gorgeous Ruby Island.

Often referred to as the ‘Jewel of Wanaka’ this secluded and beautiful island is home to a range of native plants and boasts outstanding views across Lake Wanaka and it’s surrounding mountains.

Once on the island you‘ll be free to explore the grounds as you wish.

Take the opportunity to walk around the island for picture perfect photo opportunities, or simply sit back, relax and take in this magical environment and spectacular views around you.

    You will board your vessel from the Wanaka Marina. The access is at 100 Lakeside Rd Wanaka. Please be at the departure point before 12.45 pm. You will only require your family name to board. Parking may or may not be available at the marina. Please allow ample time for parking.

    Child price is applicable for children ages 5-15 years old.

    Infants aged 0-4 years old travel FREE.

This was a great trip. After a short boat ride out, we had an informative guided tour around the island and the whole family had a great time. Took my 1year old and 3 year old and both loved it. Highly recommend.

Just got back from the most amazing ruby island 🚢 cruise! The captain was super friendly and made us feel really safe. The whole trip was so easy and relaxing, We really enjoyed it. 🤩 Had so much fun and the beautiful views was worth it. Definitely recommend this cruise if you're looking for a chill island getaway!
