Returned after 20 years to do this with our son . Still a fantastic immersive and informative experience, I highly recommend using this company for your Milford Sound cruise. Staff at check in were great, staff onboard were great, the fella chatting over the tannoy had great knowledge, I asked about the underwater viewing place that was there 20 years ago (unfortunately it was ruined in a storm) they recalled that too. Pure Milford are excellent, thank you all for making the trip totally enjoyable.
The vessel and the crew were excellent. We were lucky to spot a couple of seals. The captain was taking extra effort in steering the vessel close to the attractive waterfalls and turning the vessel in circles to allow everybody to view them nicely.
Beautiful trip, but rated it a 2 star as one of the crew members, Corbin, was extremely rude. For the price you pay you would think I could’ve gotten a cup of coffee as offered on their website. The line was always long so one must choose to stand in line or see the Fiords! Why not put 2 coffee machines inside as you clearly make enough money on these trips! There was no need to behave in the manner you did Corbin(if that’s even his real name). I asked him for it and he hesitated to give me his name! It should be announced that the coffee and tea is closing soon. It wasn’t announced and when I went to get one he was nasty about it. There were still people in line and he literally closed the rope in front of me while I was walking up to the line. I even asked just for hot water as I was extremely cold and he told me no that he can give me tap instead! There was plenty of time left to get the coffee or hot water as offered. 30 extra seconds wouldn’t have mattered Corbin. The rest of the crew did a great job and were very friendly and informative. I don’t think Corbin likes his job much at all or needs better training on how to help customers!!!
We provide free tea and coffee on the cruise. The coffee station opens once the cruises is outside the confines of the harbour and remains open until 15mins before the end of the cruise. Cruises are 1hr 45mins in duration. This means everyone onboard has the opportunity to enjoy a free tea or coffee for 1hrs & 30mins of the cruise. We need to close the tea & coffee station 15mins prior to the end of the cruise. All crew have specific duties at specific stations on the boat when we enter the harbour and come alongside the wharf. Everyone needs to be gone from the tea & coffee station before we enter the harbour area so staff can be at their required station when we enter the harbour area. We are unable to have the tea & coffee station open if it is unattended for health & safety reasons. Pure Milford Team
Very good, comfortable cruise with a couple of senior citizens with mobility issues. Staff was great and the boat was excellent. I’ve been on two other cruises previously at Milford and this one was the best.

Pure magic
The weather forecast was a little unfavourable, but we booked the Pure Milford 1.5 hour cruise, despite it. We enjoyed it immensely, the scenery and moods of the fiord were spectacular. Bursts of sunshine on the water and peaks highlighted how special the whole landscape is. Our boat captain was excellent, his commentary informative and amusing.
