This personalised half-day guided tour will take you into the high country past Glenorchy to visit the magical locations made famous in the Lord of The Rings such as Isengard, Amon Hen, Lothlorien Forest, The Misty Mountains and Ithilien.

You will enjoy insider knowledge, stories and secrets told by your friendly driver and guide who is passionate about the area. Feel free to dress up like a LOTR star and re-enact sword play in Lothlorien forest for that epic photo opportunity, this is a tour you will never forget!

Unterhaltsam auch für Nicht-Fans

Wir sind beide keine LOTR-Fans und hatten die Tour eher für die schöne Landschaft gebucht. Leider regnete es den Großteil der Zeit, sodass von der Landschaft teilweise nicht viel zu sehen war. Die Kommentare und Erzählungen von unserem Guide Shane waren allerdings so interessant und unterhaltsam, dass wir die Tour trotzdem sehr genossen. Ich hätte mir noch ein paar mehr Stopps gewünscht, aber vielleicht wollte er uns auch nur den starken Regen ersparen. Das Picknick im Wald war jedenfalls super lecker und das Verkleiden hat auch uns Nicht-Fans viel Freude bereitet!

Eine toller Ausflug

Wir haben die Fahrt sehr genossen. Das Wetter war super und unser Fahrer und Reiseleiter war sehr kompetent. Außerdem sprach er so deutlich, dass wir nahezu alles verstehen konnten! Von daher würden wir die Tour allen Herrn der Ringe-Fans weiterempfehlen.
