Discover everything Bribie Island has to offer on this adventure-packed 4WD, Kayak, Beach and Bunker Tour!
Join G'Day Adventure Tours on an exciting adventure to discover the beauty of Bribie Island.
Our first activity of the day is kayaking on Norfolk Lagoon. Where you will be able to spot native wildlife as you cruise along the water.
There will be plenty of photo opportunities with all of the iconic native wildlife and scenery surrounding you.
After our kayaking excursion, we jump back into the 4WD and head north along the dazzling beach to the WWII bunkers.
Learn all about the fascinating history of Fort Bribie, built in the 1940’s as part of the South East Queensland military defence, during World War II.
Explore the old structures in your own time, appreciating their historical significance as they are slowly descending into the ocean and may one day cease to exist.
Next, we head back down south, along the way keep a look out for the beautiful local dolphins in the pristine waters.

We had a great day at Bribie Island 4WD, Kayak, Beach and Bunker tour with good friends and Jason our tour guide was great, relaxed with a great sense of humor. One of my highlights were some baby turtles crossing the sand heading to the ocean and there was a woman there making sure they made it safely without being crushed by other 4WD's heading up the beach and she was so lovely and knowledgeable telling us all about them. We then had a great time kayaking in Norfolk Lagoon and then finished off with bunker tour. Highly Recommend.
We had a great day on the Bribie beach, kayak and bunker tour. Jason was a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable about the area. We were even very lucky to come across some baby turtles making their way from the beach to the ocean. Has a lovely time kayaking in Norfolk Lagoon and then finished off with bunker tour.
The place is beautiful, but the kayak is in a small lake very shallow, and there's no free time to explore the area. Very frustrating...
Hi Thanks for your review after speaking with Steve the guide on your tour date he mentioned you thought there was snorkelling also included in this tour and where not happy, he mentioned you may have booked something different from what you thought you had booked. As there is no mention of snorkelling in what we offer, we do allow free time to explore the area while packing up and setting up the kayaks this is usually around 10-15minutes either side of the kayaking itself. So approximately 20-30 minutes in total, we do have a duty of care however to not allow people to wonder off into the bush. Where wild animals live. I'm sorry the kayaking wasn't what you may have been expecting. most people are happy with the 45minutes they get out on the 3km long lagoon kayaking around in the coloured waters.
Thanks for taking us out, and not getting stuck in the sand like some of the novices we passed. My mother in law in her 70s enjoyed her first kayak experience very much too
