Lovely walk past lakes , bubbling pools, steaming rocks and black swans. The cruise just added to the experience
We had a ln overcast day but that didn’t stop us- check in was so easy- we borrowed an umbrella and had a great walk through the valley. Trails are easy and well maintained. We took to small detour up the stairs and the forest walk was peaceful. The wetlands walk was full of birds. We packed our lunch and ate at the picnic tables right by the boat dock. The ride was so nice- we could be inside or out and were comfy. The tour given by the captain was very good. Seeing the geothermal features of such an interesting place was super cool!
What a fabulous place! The walk was amazing and the geothermal activity was so very interesting . Can highly recommend! The boat ride at the end was pretty average (disappointing really) and not worth the extra money. Staff were very friendly. The 5 stars are for the walk (not the boat ride). Note: our online time we booked was 1245 but it was no problem for us to start at 1200.
Thoroughly recommend this experience through the thermal landscape. The walk was easy (almost all downhill) and a pleasant way to spend 90 minutes before boarding the boat.
