New to whitewater kayaking or just want to share the thrill with friends? Our tandem kayak trip down the Kaituna River is perfect for beginners! This adventure takes you on an exhilarating journey down the river, where you'll tackle the world's highest commercially kayaked waterfall and navigate 14 exciting rapids, all while surrounded by stunning subtropical native forests in a breathtaking gorge.
With a 1:1 instructor-to-client ratio and an additional kayaker accompanying the tour, you can enjoy the excitement while feeling completely safe. We can accommodate up to four clients per trip—ideal for couples or groups of friends ready to conquer the river together!

If you found this tandem kayak while looking for white water rafting on BookMe like us, highly recommend doing this as you go over the same rapids and 7m waterfall but with the intensity and adrenaline turned up to 100. You also get to optionally swim down a rapid and jump off a 10m cliff. Rob, Sam, and Jerry were amazing guides and made us feel safe throughout the entire experience, and provided knowledge of the surround areas. Still reeling from what an amazing experience this is, hands down the best thing we have done so far!

We had such an amazing experience with Sam and the rest of the crew! For a couple of first timers, we felt completely safe and supported throughout the paddle and they kept us laughing through the ride. Definitely an adventure you won’t want to miss to see explore one of the most beautiful parts of Rotorua/Okere Falls!

EPIC TOUR
Absolutely EPIC tour. Our guides were friendly, knowledgable and adventurous. They made us feel safe out on the rapids, despite the conditions being intense. HIGHLY recommend this tour over any rafting tour experience. Its more active, challenging and thrilling, and you learn more about how to navigate the white water.
