Join us for an exciting 8km run exploring Melbourne’s incredible culture, impressive art, famous laneways, and more. We’ll start our journey at Federation Square where you’ll get to have a taste of what’s to come. We’ll then explore famous laneways filled with old victorian history, unique street art, and delicious eateries. Our tour guide will educate us on what makes each laneway unique and have interesting stories to tell along the way. You’ll learn about the fun history and also the not-so-savoury events that took place as well.

We’ll visit places like Mitre Tavern, Melbourne’s oldest pub, State Library, Australia’s oldest public library, Chinatown, Hosier Lane also known as “graffiti lane,”, AC/DC Lane named for Australia’s most famous rock ‘n’ roll band, and more. Be prepared to learn and experience Melbourne like never before.

As our tour comes to an end, we’ll jog by Degraves Street. It’s known for housing some of Melbourne’s best cafes. After an amazing run, we’ll enjoy a cup of Melbourne’s best coffee together before walking the two-hundred metres back to Federation Square.

This is a fun unique way to explore and discover Melbourne.

  • Start & Finish: Federation Square. Corner of Swanston & Flinders Streets, Melbourne. We'll meet near the orange umbrellas outside Time Out Cafe. The nearest station is Flinders Street.

    Accessibility: In some cases, we are able to provide additional accessibility arrangements for those in need, such as help with wheelchair accessibility or a guide for those with a visual impairment. Refer to your booking confirmation for further details.

    Note:

    • There is nowhere to store luggage and backpacks except for the 9:00am tour. You may store luggage and bags at Travellers Aid at Flinders Street Station for approximately $6 per bag (pay in cash). Ask the train station staff for direction and organise this for prior to the tour start time.
