We went in June and Vivi (tour guide and marine biologist) said it was a good time to visit to snorkel to see the marine life as the water is real clear. It was amazing experience to snorkel amongst the fishes in the water and in the wrecks, as well, seeing the coral. Loved using the clear kayaks, too, as we saw so many fishes swimming beside and under us while we were paddling. Sand boarding was fun. Note: Bring extra food if you have any food allergies or you are vegetarian. The ferry to Moreton Island does sell food, snacks, hot and old beverages.
