2 Hour Group Surf Lesson - Main Beach, Gold Coast

Whether you're brand-new to surfing or have a couple of sessions under your belt, our 2-hour group surf lesson is the perfect way to gain confidence in the water!

There's no better place to learn the ropes than Queensland's Main Beach. It's the Gold Coast’s only dedicated surfing beach and has perfect conditions for beginners! If you have never surfed before, don't worry as you’re in great hands with our friendly and experienced instructors, who will give you a quick safety briefing before covering the basics and getting you on the waves.

Get Wet Surf School is an award winning, family owned and operated Gold Coast business operating since 2005. You can be assured of safety and comfort as our instructors are all qualified surf life savers and trained by our head coach on the beach.

The location we use at The Spit is the local Gold Coasters preferred learn-to-surf location as it has the best conditions all year round (no sweeps, gutters and dumpy waves like the open beaches). Complimentary accommodation transfers are included in your lesson cost, so all you need to do is be ready and waiting in your swim gear with a big smile and ready for some fun on the water!

Self-drive:

You can self-drive and meet us at the lesson. This is located at 'the spit' car park at the end of Main Beach. You will see our trailer, please arrive at our trailer at the Spit 5 minutes before the lesson, there is free parking here. Map of our location is on your booking confirmation.

Pick-up:

If you require the pick-up option, our meetings points are below, you will need to select which one you wish to use on your way through to the checkout. Get Wet Surf School will contact you closer to the time to confirm an approximate pick-up time. Shuttle transfers only available for surf lesson participants.
