Louise said... I was really disappointed in this trip. I had previously done a tour of fraser island and was really lookikg forward to it. The island itself is beautiful and the tour guide Jeff was absolutely brilliant/did everything he could to make the shambolic camp worth it. Despite advertising running showers, there are no working showers (the showers are in place but are not in working condition). There also was 1 portaloo for the entire camp (again, there was more there but they hadn't been emptied so weren't in use). The portaloo had no women's sanitary facilities so wasn't inclusive at all for anyone who has periods. We also weren't provided with pillows and there was not enough sleeping bags for everyone. The camp had such potential but it is clear the owners do not care about providing a decent service, whicj really is a shame. Would not advise going with this company, book a different tour!
