Adventure to The Naihehe (Lost) Cave - the fortress of Fiji’s last cannibal tribes!
The Cannibal Cave Tour has it all - raw history, river rafting, off road trekking and real Fiji village life experience. Take a few hours to experience the Fiji you won’t see from your resort.
You’ll be welcomed with a traditional Kava ceremony and a historical overview of the cave from your guide, followed by a tour of Sautabu Village. Then the real fun begins! After being taken to the river bank you’ll Bilibili raft across the river (5-15 minutes), then take an off-road ride to the cave (15-20 minutes of serious fun!). Once inside the cave you’ll spend 30-45 minutes learning about the story of the cannibal tribes who inhabited it. The cave is comfortable, with plenty of fresh air and easy access.
See a ritual platform, priest chamber and cannibals oven!
Returning to the village, you’ll be treated to a light lunch and entertainment before a quick shopping trip and being delivered to your hotel.
Refreshments are provided throughout the tour.

Cannibal cave tour
Cannibal cave tour was a great day. The caves themselves are stunning. It would have been great if the guide gave more information about the caves history and warned us that there was a fair hike to the caves on foot before booking. Also the village visit wasn't what I expected, there was no kava ceremony or tour of the village just lunch with no interactions with the locals. I did enjoy the caves however & the rainforest scenery. The local young boys who took us on the tour were funny too kept us entertained.
