    Experience the ultimate animal adventure at Orana Wildlife Park - New Zealand's only open range zoo!

    Luca vanGorkom said... We really enjoyed our time at the Orana Wildlife Park - we visited on a week day in the morning so it was nice and quiet. We were lucky to arrive just before one of the tours around the park was about to leave, which is a nice intro to the layout. We didn't realise we'd end up spending over 4 hours there just having a look around and watching the staff/volunteers feeding the different animals. There is lots of walking involved as the park is quite large and spread out. Lots of open space for people to sit down and relax etc. The cafe food was reasonable but not amazing. The inside of the cafe can get very loud and busy with children, even on a weekend.
