Join a special guided tour at Silverstream Alpaca Stud, where you’ll meet rare, friendly, and curious alpacas up close. You’ll have the chance to feed, pet, and take photos with these beautiful animals. Baby alpacas (crias) may even be available for cuddles and pictures during certain seasons.
The tour is led by the owner, Kit, who shares fun stories and insights about these unique animals. Enjoy Silverstream’s lush gardens, lawns, and riverside views, where you’re welcome to stay as long as you like. The tour wraps up with a visit to the fleece shed, where you can feel award-winning alpaca fleece, and the trophy room and shop, where you’ll find soft alpaca garments.
With over 23 years of experience, Silverstream is known for breeding top-quality alpacas whose genetics are recognized worldwide. It’s a memorable, educational experience that lets you relax and soak up the natural beauty of this special place.

Well worth it
This exceeded my expectations - mainly because of the host - his passion and friendliness made this (super hot) afternoon a very memorable experience:)

LOVED our visit!
What a wonderful experience! I was a bit nervous that our 18 month old would be afraid because she hasn’t been around alot of larger animals but the gentle alpacas at Silverstream made her feel quite at ease and she really enjoyed patting and feeding them. Our guide was excellent and we learned so much about Alpacas and their wool. Would 100% recommend. Definitely hope to go back again!

Lovely experience
Our visit to the farm was an unforgettable experience! We had the chance to meet, cuddle, and feed so many adorable alpacas while learning all about them. The owner shared his inspiring story of how he started the business, which made the tour even more special. It was truly fascinating! Our guide was lovely and incredibly helpful throughout the experience. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and unique adventure!

Hi Adriana We enjoyed having you at Silverstream - we do not receive many visitors from Brazil and then to have a family from Toulouse join the tour as well, made the tour even more special. I do love story telling and feel that it adds to the sense of anticipation when the physical tour actually starts. The alpacas make my job easy of course and having babies on the ground melts the hearts of many of our visitors. Super!
IAlpacas were beautiful and my son enjoyed feeding them. The guide 'Kit' was charasmatic and told us interesting Alpaca facts and stories.

Hi Rachel So pleased you finally got to see the alpacas on a lovely day. Children and alpacas always make a great combination - the alpacas seem to be more relaxed around children. Having been in tourism all my life, one thing you learn when providing a commentary is to mix up the hard facts with some interesting and fun stories. I find visitors relax more and there is better interaction. Thank you for coming to Silverstream - we will have a lot more babies by late February. Regards Kit

Richtig schönes Erlebnis
Es war echt ein richtig schönes Erlebnis. Der Tour-guide war mega lieb und hatte echt Ahnung. Die Geschichte vom Hof war auch sehr interessant und man hat einen super Einblick bekommen. Genug Möglichkeiten zum Füttern und streicheln und Fotos machen mit den Alpaka gab's natürlich auch. Also rund um ein tolles Erlebnis. Danke!
