Reef Trip - Outer Great Barrier Reef Day Trip - SeaQuest

Experience a full day on the magnificent Great Barrier Reef with the crew aboard SeaQuest, departing from Cairns. Enjoy snorkelling at two distinct locations on the reef, where you'll discover the vibrant marine life and stunning coral formations. Before you begin, our experienced team will provide a comprehensive briefing on how to use the snorkelling gear, which is fully provided, including wetsuits or stinger suits. Prescription masks are also available upon request.

With access to 17 exclusive moorings on the Outer Great Barrier Reef at Norman, Saxon, and Hastings reefs, we carefully select the best locations each day to ensure optimal conditions and minimal environmental impact. During the day, we will make a brief stop at our liveaboard vessel, OceanQuest, to transfer overnight guests.

Our snorkelling sites are teeming with marine life, generally including tropical and pelagic fish, rays, turtles, friendly sharks, and the beloved Maori Wrasse. For those interested in scuba diving, we offer both introductory and certified dives on board, however, are subject to availability.
