River Boarding is a more personal experience, everyone has their own individual riverboards, fins, safety equipment & we are head first into the river rapids, tackling the course from within the Barron Gorge River (as apposed to on the river).
Suitable for families, people looking for their next adventure, or to try something new like Australia’s only riverboarding tour company. With a maximum of 16 people in your group (unless private charter), this is definitely a personal experience to enjoy in the Wet Tropics!
Duration: Standard experience takes around 4.5hrs. Please allow up to 5hrs for the whole experience from start to finish, every day is a little different, depends on weather, road conditions & fun!

Epic Day.!!
If you’re looking for something fun to do in Cairns, and want to try something completely different and adventurous? Push you limits and give this a crack. It’s epic! The guides (kiwi’s) are fun, patient, accommodating, knowledgeable and engaging and will guide you through with ease and with confidence. Glad I got to do this! Thanks Heaps 🤙🏽

Such a great experience! Our family loves these kind of experiences and we’d never done anything like this before. We’d go again tomorrow. The guides were friendly and chatty and made you feel part of the team right from your entry into their office. It’s on our “do again” list.

Excellent opportunity- recommended
I'd like to thank and acknowledge Marcio and Jayden for guiding myself and my 14 year old son on a magnificent half day journey through the Barron River on "boards". Do yourself a favour, ignore the sedate rafting option and try boarding. More immersion, more adrenalin and more fun. Highly recommended.
