Rich with history, this area is the land of the Dulabed Malanbarra Yidinji Aboriginal people filled with specks of Gold as this is how is got its name, Goldsborough Valley. As you paddle the river you will find the wild life is abundant and forever changing. Sometimes its wild horses on the river or a cassowary popping down to say hi. Rare birds, turtles and crystal clear water which will have you wanting to jump in no time for a long swim, your instructor always brings masks and snorkel so you can jump in and have a look.
You just need to bring:
- Water bottle
- Swimwear and towel
Itinerary
- Pick up at 8 am, it takes about 1 hour to get to the site we then have 3 hours of water and swimming time.

Great experience
It was a wonderful experience. Thanks our instructor Allie for her guide. She is a very nice lady, I can feel her passion for life, and she would like to bring joy to her customers. I strongly recommend her organized tour.

Mastering the paddleboard
Our family had a fabulous day learning how to stand up on a paddle board on a beautiful river. Our host, Allie, picked us up from our caravan park and on the drive shared with us some of the highlights of Cairns and suggested some beautiful places we could visit and some restaurants we could eat at. She happily answered any question we asked and told us some fun crocodile stories. Allie supplied all the equipment needed even water shoes and waterproof bags for our camera and phones. She was patient as she she taught us the paddle board techniques and we were all able to get up and enjoy a new experience. We enjoyed the opportunity to snorkel even if we didn't see much. Allie provided morning tea and there was plenty of food including a home made cake. It was a great day out for all the participant and we would recommend this as a fun day out.

AWESOME
It was such an amazing day!! The weather was so good, and the lake was so beautifull! I meet a lot of lovely people too.

Cool adventure tour
Was a great time discovering mulgrave river together with Allie, we were swimming, chilling on the waves. I did Sup surfing first time but it was not very difficult to keep balance, so if you want to have some adventures , swim, discover beautiful National Park abs just have fun for half of day- just book it;)
