On this epic tour you'll enjoy up to 6.5 hours to explore Fitzroy Island with a scenic 45 minute ferry ride there and back.
We depart from Cairns at 8:30am and arrive at Fitzroy around 9.15am, then departing Fitzroy Island by 4:00pm and arriving in Cairns approx. 4.45pm, giving you plenty of time to soak in the island's natural beauty including its vibrant marine life and stunning coral. Plus, there are optional extras to enhance your experience.
Purchasing this ticket will give you the return transfer Fitzroy Island on our Fitzroy Ferry. These are some of the experiences you can book directly with Fitzroy Island Adventures:

Great Day out on Fitzroy Island
We had an amazing day out on Fitzroy Island, the snorkelling was fantastic with lots of colourful sea life and a giant clam. The boat journey over was very scenic. We were looked after very well on the transfer over and plenty of great advice on what to do on Fitzroy.

A pleasant day out !
If you only have a day to have a reef experience , that is close to Cairns, Fitzroy island is a great day out ! There are some very good regrowth areas along the beach . You will see turtles feeding in the grassed areas too. We had a cloudy day which made visibility a bit difficult. The meals at Foxys where very good. The walk to Nudys beach is worth the effort - beautiful beach and no nudes bathers !!

Fitzroy island from Cairns
Friendly staff and service. For some reason they chose to play heavy metal music loud there and back which was really unusual especially with small children on board. The masks for hire were pretty average quality and we had lots of issues which impacted our day, even after swapping a few times.

日本語約ではツアー代にスノーケルが含まれているとあったが、実際は含まれていなかったのが残念。シュノーケルサファリは珊瑚は良かったが、魚は少なかった。シュノーケルサファリに参加しなったらつまらなかったと思います。

If you don't opt to borrow dive gear, it's really just a Ferry service and it's a bit pricey for that, so I was glad to find a discounted price on bookme. There's not a whole lot to do on the island - a couple hike options, the beach, and restaurant - so they did offer anyone who booked the full day to return on the earlier ferry if there was room. You can easily fill the whole day if you hike lighthouse to summit, then grab lunch, and spend time at Nudey Beach.
