Snorkelling is the easiest and most accessible way to explore the vibrant, diverse underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef. All necessary equipment is provided, and our friendly, experienced crew will assist you in using it.
Your trip to the reef takes approximately 90 minutes, followed by up to five hours spent exploring the outer reef. We’ll carefully select two of the top reef sites based on the day’s conditions, with incredible spots along the rich and diverse Norman, Saxon, and Hastings Reefs.
The Great Barrier Reef is home to an array of marine life, from vibrant tropical fish and stunning coral formations to turtles and the occasional clownfish (nemos). AquaQuest, our purpose-built day trip vessel, comes equipped with state-of-the-art snorkelling gear to help you explore this incredible underwater world.
Itinerary
- 8am: Check in at Finger B, Cairns Marlin Marina
- 8.30 am: Depart Cairns
- 10.00 am: Arrive at first snorkelling site
- 12.45 am: Move to second snorkelling site and enjoy lunch
- 1.30 pm: Continue snorkelling
- 3 pm: Depart reef site
- 4.30 pm: Arrive Cairns

Great experience & with good view
I booked through bookme.com & got for discounted price... It was a great experience & view was good..I did snorkeling & it was good & crew members were very helpful... Only thing which lacked was for vegetarians very less option on food & it is whole day trip.. appreciate to address that.

Loved it
Big American man has captivating smile, engaging conversation and helpful. Awesome energy. Reminds me of a golden retriever just so loveable and trust worthy. Strong body would be keen to date if I was a woman or homosexual. Kitchen man polite and good chat.I love the Japanese men very cute. French photographer helpful and lovely . Everyone passionate about there jobs 10/10

Amazing
Rosie was an amazing snorkel guide we saw turtles lots of fish she was able to tell us what each fish was and about the coral. Definitely need more instructors like Rosie.
