Venture out to one of our personal favourite places on earth - Litchfield National Park. Litchfield National Park is an ancient landscape shaped by water making it an absolute MUST see when in Top End. It’s home to beautiful waterfalls, iconic magnetic termite mounds, sandstone pillars, beautiful pockets of tropical rainforest, and more.
We’ll begin our tour departing Darwin making our way towards the world-class Litchfield National Park. Along the way, you will have an opportunity to stop and experience the iconic Jumping Crocodile Cruise (optional extra) on the Adelaide River or join us as we visit the Fogg Dam Conservation Centre. This traditional land of the Limilngan-Wulna people (who are active in the reserve's management) is home to a variety of wildlife. Keep an eye out for numerous species of birds, turtles, water pythons and of course the iconic Saltwater Crocodile. Boardwalks will take you through different landscapes, stunning views, and a large number of resident wading birds. Highly recommended to bring a camera and capture the beautiful sky during sunrise or sunset.
Next, we’ll visit the iconic monolithic Magnetic Termite Mounds, an amazing sight! We’ll then escape the heat and cool off off in one of Litchfield’s stunning natural plunge pools like Buley Rockholes or Wangi Falls. For our last stop, we’ll visit a thundering waterfall like Florence Falls or Tolmer Falls and be amazed at the sheer beauty carved out amongst the rocky escarpment. A beautiful sight to remember and to end our tour on. We’ll be reflecting on our beautiful day out in the Litchfield National Park on our drive back to Darwin.

We had a great day on the tour of Litchfield National Park. Tim our driver and guide was first class. His knowledge of all things NT was impressive. His manner and delivery were informative and humorous. Thanks for a wonderful day at Litchfield. Would definitely do it again.

Elliott is a talented passionated tour guide. He has an impressive knowledge. So nice to learn comfortably sitting in the mini bus admiring the scenery. The swimming was fun and safe. Great day tour!

Fun and informative day out
Our guide, Darryl, was great fun and was well informed about the areas we went to. Had a really fun afternoon jumping in pools and swimming near waterfalls. A great tour, if like us you don’t have a car and want to see and experience some of the outback and amazing national parks in NT.
