Enjoyed it.
We did the Serenity Cruise, two and a half hours of cruising gently through the everglades with beer and bubbles half way. We gently glided through stunning scenery with lots of photo opportunities Very informative commentary, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Cruise left 30 mins late without explanation. Trip no longer goes to Harry’s Hut and only offers a drink on board. If their experienced skipper retires then the anecdotes he tells will also be lost, and much of the experience will be lost. The trip is now very overpriced for what it offers. Better value is trip to whales or dolphins running from The Jetty at Gympie Terrace.
i think we managed to pick the wettest day for our trip my brother in law was visiting from UK He said he enjoyed what he saw obviously had to keep the sides down on boat crossing so unable to fully appreciate the views going across the lake and then due to wet the mozzies were in there element. We missed the first part of the intro at the beginning as we were standing at the meeting point , as drove ourselves to the venue along with other people but the people of the coaches were sitting around far side bar I believe we were a bit of a forgotten entity until they did head count. may be better communication between the team. The yound lad operating the boat appeared very sociable. disappointed not seeing much wildlife but that was because of the rain - maybe a good idea to advise people take towels etc as when the sides up obviously people got very wet .

Great Afternoon
Trevor the skipper was great and took his time to explain everything, really glad he told where to see the wild kangaroos it finished off the day perfectly for both ourselves and 2 year old grandson.
