Soar high above breathtaking views of this renowned wine-producing region, passing over historic sights and towns, and indulge in the true beauty of Barossa Valley.
Lifting off from Hoffnungsthal Valley, you’ll be treated to views of Australia’s oldest town, Lyndoch, as well as stunning sights all along the western boundary. Fly over the historic Seppeltsfield where lush vineyards hug rolling hills, palm trees line roads and set eyes on the Seppelt Family mausoleum, a true sight to see.
Get an aerial view of the must-see Maggie Beer's Farm Shop and the famous Penfolds Winery before heading to the eastern side of Nuriootpa, flying over Wolf Blass winery, and then setting eyes on the large limestone quarry near the town of Angaston.
On our way to Angaston, keep a lookout for horses as we pass over one of the most stunning horse racing studs in South Australia – McEvoy-Mitchell Racing. Once in Angaston, you’ll be treated to miles & miles of 180-degree views over the beautiful Barossa Valley and beyond. Your pilot will point out some of the historic buildings and settlements like Chateau Tanunda, Bethany, and more as we descend into the valley towards Tanunda.
Then, we’ll make our way to Rowland Flat where the famous Jacobs Creek and Australia’s largest wine tanks lie. Some of the tanks hold up to 1.4 million litres each! Before returning to our initial destination in Hoffnungsthal Valley, we'll take one final look at the gorgeous Barossa Valley. We'll fly over the historic Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall, a reservoir that formerly boasted the highest dam wall in Australia.
