Karthik had great communication and was very amenable - we really appreciated how considerate a driver and tour guide he was, and how many thoughtful recommendations he had of places to see, and things to do. As for the caves, you'll have to go and let them speak for themselves - the Waitomo boat trip under the glow-worms was well worth it and the Ruakuri cave is absolutely breathtaking.
